The first option, if you want to get paid to write about anything is freelance writing. I have been a full-time freelance writer for over a decade and I have written about numerous things I never thought I would write about.

You can pick and choose the projects you want and even specialize in one or two industries you prefer to write about. At first, I wrote about anything and everything because I needed the cash. Today, I specialize in one specific industry, but still take on a few projects outside of my specialty from time to time.

Another way to truly get paid to write about anything is with blogging. I am obviously a blogger, as you can see here and I write about what I love, which is writing. You can do the same thing and blog about what you love.

In fact, I think it’s smarter to blog about your passion than to worry about entering into one of the blog niches that make money. When you write about what you live, the money will come, as you will find your audience and you will stick with it. Those just chasing money often quit before they really make any money.

You don’t have to be an expert in the area you want to blog about, either. The only real requirement is that you will enjoy the research and the writing. So, if there’s something you’ve always wanted to learn about, blogging offers you a way to learn about it and make money writing about it.

You can use EBooks along with blogging as a one-two punch if you want to make money writing about anything. EBooks are electronic books you can sell on sites, such as Amazon.com, Scribd, and several other sites. I have used this method to make plenty of cash to go along with my blogs.

EBooks offer you a way to write something once and get paid time and time again. It doesn’t have to be a long book, either. As of right now, you can publish an eBook as short at 2,500 words on Amazon.com. Of course, if you write a longer book and provide more quality information, you can charge more for it.

The best way to make money writing eBooks is to either go all-in with a strategy for Amazon Kindle or sell high-quality resources on your website. You can charge more on your own website, but Amazon offers resources to help you promote your book. Of course, you can use both strategies and make even more cash from your eBooks.
